Emergency Care and Transportation

MAAS provides Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency medical care and transportation.  We are the primary 911 response agency for the the Village of Mayville, Fremont Township, Dayton Township, and Watertown Township, in Tuscola County, Michigan, and Rich Township in Lapeer County, Michigan.  Service Area Map

If you have an emergency and need an ambulance, police, or the fire department, call 911!

All medical care is overseen by Saginaw Valley Medical Control Authority (SVMCA) and/or Lapeer County Medical Contol Authority (LCMCA).  

Non-Emergency Transportation


MAAS can provide BLS non-emergency transportation.  We can work with patients and families, hospitals, extended care rehabilitation and nursing facilities to coordinate transportation needs for patients not physically able to sit in a wheelchair and/or who may need qualified professionals to manage their care while in transit.

Note: State law requires that we have at least 1 ambulance available for emergency calls at all times.  As a small provided, we may not be able to meet requests for non-emergency transports.

CPR and First Aid Training


MAAS can provided CPR and first aid training.  Additionally, we work with other organizations for EMS and other advanced training.  See our training page for more info.

Special Event Standby


MAAS can provide a staffed ambulance to standby at special events.   We provide standby services for all home Mayville High School football games.
